Traditional Narrative and Archaeology

Traditional Narrative has proven in many cases to be a reliable document on history and archaeology of Indigenous People - but direct cultural knowledge is critical to understand narrative. Traditional Ecological Knowledge - TEK - has also been ignored to regrettable effect. Combinding Traditional Narrative and TEK will improve our understanding of the land's history and evolution, as well as open a path toward climate change resilience.
